VBOP Senior Invitational Tournament 2025

VBOP are running a invitational senior tournament to accomodate for teams who may not be competiting at New Zealand Secondary School Nationals. It will be an awesome opportunity for players and coaches to have some fun and develop their skills in a structured tournament setting.

When: 22nd & 23rd of March 2025.

Where: QEYC and Mercury Arena, Tauranga. Games will be played at QEYC on the 22nd and at Mercury on the 23rd.

Cost: $300 per team.

Entries close on the 14th of March.

The draw and format will be sent out after entries close. 

We need a minimum of 12 teams between both genders to go ahead with the tournament.

Pool Results are determined in the following order:

1)  Number of wins

2)  Competiiton Points   

• Match Won 3-0  = 3 points
• Match won 3-2 = 2 points
• Match Lost 2-3 = 1 point
• Match Lost 0-3 = 0 points

3) Sets Ratio (Sets for divided by sets against) 

4) Points Ratio (Points for divided by points against)

5) The team that won the match between the equal teams
