High Performance Beach Programme Term 4 2024
VBOP will be running a high performance beach programme in term 4 which will prepare athletes for the upcoming Summer beach season. Any athletes wanting to trial and participate in the U17 and U19 IPC beach teams are strongly encouraged to participate in these trainings. Athletes not participating in IPC beach are also welcome but this is a high performance programme so the level will be high.

Registrations open on the 13th of September and close on the 11th of October.
Athletes: This programme is targetting year 11, 12 and 13 students and IPC U17 and U19 athletes.
Where: Mount Maunganui Main beach by Commons Ave toilets.
Cost: $120 per person for the whole 8 weeks. If you can only make some sessions, please let us know and we can organise a pay per session set up.
Dates (All Wednesday's)
October: 16th, 23rd and 30th
November: 6th, 13th and 27th
December: 4th and 11th
Please note, there is a one week beach rest period on the 20th of November where no trainings will be held.
Session Times
Girls: 4pm - 5:15pm
Boys: 5:20pm - 6:35pm.
A minimum of 12 total participants are needed for the programme to run.
Other information
Make sure to bring sunblock, water, a hat and any other sun protective gear.
Trainings may be cancelled due to weather conditions. Cancellations and weather updates will be made by 2:00pm and emailed to the email address used on this form so please make sure it is correct. There will be no refunds if this happens as we cannot control the weather - we may try and get the beach booked for more weeks if this occurs.
